Australia Is Cheering — Can You Hear Us?
Sorry Not Sorry the USA got knocked out of the Women’s World Cup.
For the Australian Matildas, as co-hosts with New Zealand for the Women’s Soccer World Cup, today’s game against France FRA was a huge challenge.
The French are revered as the champions of penalty shoot-outs in women’s soccer ⚽️

To face up to FRA was a true test of courage and determination by AU.
Their AU goal keeper, Arnold, was fearless but being able to predict which way the ball will be directed towards the open goal is a unique skill.
We were holding our breath every single time.
7 goals to 6. The first time the Matildas have been in the semi-finals.

Nothing like this World Cup series has excited Australian girls in the past, for wanting to learn to play the round ball game.

And we are cheering them on!
